Journey to Lundu
Today is ash Wednesday, and i've got to bring my grandma to church. I'll be meeting up with a friend for lunch, and i don't know whether i should wear my new dress to go out.
Tomorrow i'm starting work again, and the agonizing 2 week tagging period is going to make me very tired. Below are some pics from my lundu trip.
This is Mt Singai, where the stations of the cross are held each year. I've never been there before
Along the way i had to overtake both this truck and another car, and i did it while i was climbing up a hill!! The perdana changes gears quite slowly so i had to accelerate hard. Pure fun
This is the turning fork road to Lundu town. Before the bridge was built, we had to come here by ferry. Sometimes it took 1 hour for our turn to get aboard the ferry.
Pandan Beach- Much cleaner and not so muddy as Pasir pandak. I incidentally met other relatives who came there earlier. If only i could have a beach house in the future...
I love driving especially with sceneries like this. If you were to ask me to choose between having a house on the mountains, or near the sea, i'd choose the former.
